about me

I'm Keyanna, a self-taught artist based in Alberta, Canada. I mainly draw art based on media franchises I like, though I frequently draw and design my own original characters as well! I enjoy experimenting with fashion, especially subcultures like lolita, ouji, jirai, and applying elements from those subcultures into my own works. At times, I incorporate horror aspects into my pieces; I enjoy making what is "pretty" yet simultaneously "scary". My work primarily consists of portrait-style drawings with a more dark and elegant feel, yet it sometimes still adds a hint of "cute" and "fun" into the mix. I also make chibi art and have created emotes / digital stickers for many online chat apps!My main art medium is digital art. I began drawing in 2021 as a hobby, and at the end of 2024, I began focusing on it as a potential career. Since I started Artist Alley in October 2024, I've tabled at over 15+ events, hosted two events, set up in over 5 consignment stores, and worked on merch collaborations with stores and other artists!I've hosted several fan-run events myself, such as fandom meetups and cupsleeve events! I coordinate merch creation, production, promotional art, and help organize activities, decor, and performances, alongside other event logistics. I believe that connecting with communities is an important part of my role as a local artist, and I hope to continue hosting and helping out with events!
